In the heart of Paris, complete restructuring of a large family flat for five people on the garden level.
This flat had been dormant for many years and the work made it possible to combine a modern lifestyle with Haussmann aesthetics. By moving the kitchen back to the centre of the flat, the distribution of space was made more rational, easy and convivial.
Négative points :
a disproportionate entrance,
a remote and isolated kitchen,
corridors were too long,
insufficient number of rooms,
only one bathroom and one toilet,
Restructuring carried out :
division of the large entrance hall,
kitchen brought back to the centre of the flat and opened out into the dining room and the living room,
creation of an additional independent shower room and toilet,
optimal reduction of the corridors,
use of the volume of the children’s bedrooms to create a large sleeping area on the mezzanine,
transformation of the basement into a laundry room and dressing room,
